After Gabi revealed all her secrets and rules on how to stay stylish while on vacation, it is my turn to do so. When it comes to traveling, the first thing we start planning is what will we be wearing. It is truly exciting and captivating to me. As my holiday style really depends on the destination I pick, I am going to share my most recent experience with you.
When packing for my last vacation to Italy, I decided I had to forget about all those loose and masculine outfits I usually opted for. I knew I needed something comfortable, yet fabulous, something that could help me embrace the romantic vibe of that beautiful country.
My golden rule on a holiday: Comfort is the key.
Nothing should stop me from exploring and enjoying a place to the fullest. I don’t usually carry tons of heels but at least one pair is always there in my luggage. Accessories are quite insignificant when I travel. My classic watch and some rock studs are all I need. Instead, I really love to play with bold lipsticks to elevate my looks.
I am a captain obvious when I tell you that a “denim shorts – white shirt” combo is a win regardless of the circumstances. Even though I wore it only once. I really felt like wearing only skirts and dresses throughout this romantic vacation. A fedora hat is a travel must have for me, a great accessory to keep one stylish and safe in the sunlight.
I used to think I should stay away from halternecks until I wore this dress. It made me instantly fall in love with it. A mid length is my to go for.
Stripes are always a great idea for me. I chose a striped midi dress for a gondola ride and ended up matching outfits with the gondolier:)
I chose a high-waisted midi skirt paired with a crop top for a night out in the city. It is an ideal combo when you feel like embracing your sex appeal to the fullest. I have to admit I should add more crop tops to my closet.
I find a flirty silhouette very flattering on every woman. An off-the-shoulder dress is my best bet when I am in a romantic mood. I literally felt like Juliet while exploring the city of “Romeo and Juliet”.
Nothing better than a jersey maxi dress came to my mind for a relaxing day on the boat. I decided to add a bold and romantic touch to it with a red scarf.
