You all probably recognize rose quartz and serenity blue as the two Pantone colours of 2016. While we both have a special sympathy for them, I picked its majesty pink as a leading star for a style report. Rose quartz as they call it is definitely a color of extreme tenderness and femininity. Audrey Hepburn once expressed her devotion for this shade famously saying “I believe in pink”.
We bet you wonder about how to properly match this special colour in order to get the best effect. Here are a few suggestions on what will work with it:
Pink and pink: If you pick a monochromatic head to toe pink look make sure you finish it with a bold detail like a red or plum lipstick. However, if you are blonde we suggest you to avoid this risky combo.
Pink and red: I decided to showcase this combination because I personally consider that this is definitely a win. It might sound like a bad idea for many of you, even though the vibrant red will perfectly elevate the delicate pink shade and will result with an interesting and bold combination.
Pink and blue: We encourage you to wear them together for a very flattering and fresh effect. Also, this is the case when wearing two trendy shades together you will not look as a walking trend report.
Pink and black: If you are not ready to dare, this will be your best bet. Wear these two colours together for a romantic – dark vibe. Don’t be afraid to play with different styles and textures.
