Wardrobe Detectives – Policies & Terms
- A 1-hour minimum applies to all appointments.
- A 2-hour retainer fee applies to all clients and will be credited toward services rendered.
- Cancellations are accepted with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice.
- Late cancellations (less than 24 hours’ notice) and no-shows will be charged a 1-hour fee.
- Cancellation fees may be waived in cases of genuine emergencies or illness, at the discretion of Wardrobe Detectives.
- Hourly services are billed in 15-minute increments.
- Late payments (5 days past the invoice due date) will incur a 20% late fee.
- A travel fee of $25–$50 applies to locations beyond 10 km from downtown Calgary. Longer distances are subject to a $25/hour travel rate plus mileage at $0.68/km, in accordance with CRA guidelines.
- Gift certificates are final sale and strictly non-refundable under any circumstances.
- Services that have been rendered (in full or in part) are non-refundable.
- All sales are final.
- Prices and fees are subject to change without notice.
Scheduling & Availability
- Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
- Appointments outside of regular working hours (after hours, evenings, and weekends) may be accommodated based on availability and at the discretion of Wardrobe Detectives. Additional fees may apply.
- Scheduling is a mutual agreement. While Wardrobe Detectives makes every reasonable effort to accommodate clients, clients are equally responsible for making reasonable efforts to align availability within the offered timeframes.
- Clients are responsible for timely communication and for confirming booking dates within a reasonable timeframe. Failure to do so does not constitute grounds for a refund.
- Appointments may be rescheduled with reasonable notice. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, Wardrobe Detectives will make reasonable efforts to offer alternative dates. If the client is unable or unwilling to accommodate any of the offered rescheduling options, the service remains valid and non-refundable.
- In the case of unforeseen circumstances (including illness or family emergencies), Wardrobe Detectives reserves the right to reschedule appointments, with reasonable efforts made to accommodate clients within available timelines.
- Payment secures time, expertise, and availability, not a guaranteed outcome or specific scheduling preference.
