This year, my husband and I were invited to celebrate Canada Day at a beautiful Western-inspired garden party. Somehow I had to put together three distinctive themes and still look like I didn’t try too much and end up with a costume instead of an elaborated outfit. Obviously, my sartorial choices leaned towards a red and white combo, two colors that were not necessarily my favourites. Before going shopping I decided to take one last look into my closet and realized that the Zara gingham dress I bought for my LA trip and forgot to pack seemed like the perfect choice. I rarely wear short bodycon dresses because of my hip bone structure, but when I do, I mask them with a draped tulip silhouette. The red pointy toe heels completed the outfit and elongated my legs. Plus the shades. I finally found the perfect 60’s inspired round shaped sunglasses at Chinook Optical. xoxo, Gabi
