Last week we had the pleasure to attend one of the best parties Calgary had the chance to experience in a while. The annual Grey Goose Canada event came up this time with an idea of a romantic Provence vibe that transformed the cozy Charbar patio at Simmons Building in the perfect location for a french styled party.
The Parisian DJ David-Alexandre set the tone of the night with some good classic disco tunes. I mean, there could not be a french party with some oldies from Daft Punk and with delicious in-house cooked baguette bites for the guests. In terms of fashion, both Julia and I missed the fact that it was actually a dress code theme party and, thank God, did not put some stripes on to blend in with the decor. We just went with cami-style tops and dresses that, in the end, channeled our french vibe better than some random nautical outfits.
